These terms govern your use of Encore, a marketplace where approved businesses resell unused motorsport hospitality, hotel rooms and event tickets. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who can use Encore
Encore is for approved businesses and professionals. Every account is reviewed before it can buy or sell, and we may approve, reject or suspend an account at our discretion.
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Listing rules
You must have permission to advertise and transfer what you list, and you accept responsibility for the accuracy of your listing and any financial implications of the sale.
Listings must be valued at less than 100,000 pounds. Listings must be genuine, available and not double-sold.
Event tickets may only be listed at or below the resale limit that applies to the event and market, which can be face value or a capped multiple of it. You are responsible for following the ticket resale laws where the event takes place.
Buying, payment and handover
Payments are taken through Stripe and held in escrow until the handover is complete. Prices, fees and any payout amounts are shown before you confirm.
After a purchase the seller must transfer the booking or tickets to the buyer. If something goes wrong, report it in the app and the Encore team will step in.
Fees
Encore charges a platform fee on completed sales. The fee that applies is shown to sellers before they publish a listing and is deducted from the payout.
What you must not do
Do not list things you do not own or cannot transfer, misrepresent a listing, trade outside Encore to avoid fees, manipulate prices, abuse other users, or use Encore for anything unlawful.
Our responsibility
Encore provides the marketplace and escrow service. Bookings and tickets are supplied by the sellers, not by Encore, and we do not guarantee that any listing will be accurate or that any event will take place.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time from the Account screen. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Completed sales and open disputes are still honoured.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before important changes apply.
